Sustainability
Our furniture and design solutions are sensitive to our concern for the enviroment, and we are committed to the standards set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council LEED (Leadership in Energy and Enviromental Design).
Louer Facility Planning principal, Jane Louer, has demonstrated this commitment by passing the exam to achieve LEED® AP qualification. The depth of knowledge required for this accreditation is brought into each project to compliment the efforts of the owner and architect in building a better environment for their employees and for our planet
Haworth furniture products, especially Architectural Interiors products, such as raised floor systems and full height movable walls, can contribute to the individual prerequisites and credits of LEED.
In order to qualify for LEED certification, all products used in workstations must be third party air quality certified. Haworth uses both GREENGUARD and SCS Indoor Advantage certification programs
and they have a large offering of products that are certified.
