The School of Geography Computer Laboratory at Southern Illinois University is used for student instruction on the use of the Global Positioning System. It is also used to host seminars for businesses in need of information that can be made available through research done by the School of Geography.
Haworth Tactics tables were chosen so that power could be accessed at one end and distributed through the power raceway that is part of the table. CPU units are kept safely off the floor by use of holders attached to the table.
A simple but attractive side chair on casters was used throughout the room.
